Hours per Regular School Day: 7.0 hour shift per regular, in-person school day (6.5 paid hours; 0.5 unpaid lunch break; no additional breaks)
- Payrate: $21.00 per hour
- Medical Benefits, Paid Leave Time (Sick, Personal, Vacation), Paid Holidays: In accordance with the current agreement between the Thomaston Board of Education and the AFSCME employees)

The Thomaston Public Schools district is located in Thomaston, Connecticut which encompasses a land area of 12 square miles and has a population of 7,922. The Town is 10 miles south of Torrington, 23 miles west of Hartford and is bordered by Waterbury, Plymouth, Harwinton, Litchfield, and Watertown.
