Description:                              Teacher -  Social Studies, 1 FTE

Job Summary:                         The High School Teacher is responsible for delivering engaging, standards-aligned instruction that supports academic excellence and prepares Lakota students for post-secondary success.

                                                   This role involves fostering a dynamic and inclusive classroom environment, utilizing evidence-based instructional strategies, and facilitating critical thinking, problem-solving, and 

                                                   collaboration. The teacher supports differentiated learning needs, ensures student engagement, and builds meaningful relationships that promote both academic and social-emotional growth.

 

Qualifications:                         Bachelor's degree in Education; valid Ohio 7-12 Integrated Social Studies teaching license.

                                                  Strong communication, instructional, and classroom management skills; ability to use data to guide instruction and integrate technology effectively.

Working Conditions:              7.75 hours per day, 184 days per school year calendar.
