State Bill 150: Retired Educator Return-To-Work Program

Candidate must be a retired educator holding a clear, valid Georgia Educator Certificate.

Retirees must meet all of the following: 

• Minimum 30 years of TRS service

• 12-month break in service from retirement

• No suspension or termination in the 12 months prior to reemployment

• Employed at 50% or more time as a classroom teacher with instruction as the priority function

• Eligible to work as a certified full-time PK–12 teacher
