Early Learning Center Teacher
Holy Family Catholic School – Auburn, Washington

We are seeking a faith-filled, collaborative, and nurturing Early Learning Center Teacher to join our growing early childhood program. This individual will help create a high-quality, developmentally appropriate, and faith-centered experience for our youngest learners. The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood education, committed to excellence, and skilled in building strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.

Position Responsibilities

Instruction & Classroom Environment

  • Plan and implement engaging, play-based, and developmentally appropriate instruction for young learners
  • Create a safe, nurturing, structured, and joyful classroom environment
  • Support children's social-emotional, spiritual, physical, and academic growth
  • Integrate Catholic values and faith formation into daily classroom experiences and routines
  • Foster positive relationships with students and families through regular communication and partnership
  • Support and reinforce Holy Family School's Schoolwide Learning Expectations (SLEs):
    • Grow in Faith
    • Achieve Academic Excellence
    • Live as Christian Citizens

Assessment & Student Support

  • Observe and monitor student development using developmentally appropriate assessment practices
  • Maintain accurate student records and documentation
  • Collaborate with families and school staff to support student success and growth

School Culture & Collaboration

  • Participate actively in school-wide initiatives, faith experiences, and community events
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to support a positive and mission-centered school culture
  • Model professionalism, positivity, flexibility, and a commitment to Catholic education

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Washington State teaching certification and/or ECE certification preferred (or ability to obtain)
  • Experience working with young children
  • Strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practices
  • Commitment to Catholic education and willingness to support the mission of Holy Family School
  • Practicing Catholic preferred (or strong respect for Catholic teachings and values)
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Salary

Range: $22.00–$24.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant skills and prior relevant experience, degrees, and certifications.
