School Counselor/School Social Worker Special Programs

Royalton Hartland Learning Center- Gasport, New York 

Job Description: The individual shall provide services to students in a special education classroom setting.  The individual must have knowledge regarding or experience with students with significant emotional and behavioral disabilities, including cognitive delays.  Strong behavior management and leadership skills to meet students' needs, are required.  Experience with threat assessments and completing Functional Behavioral Assessments and Behavioral Intervention Plans is preferred. The individual must be a team player and work collaboratively with support staff.  The candidate should have experience with behavioral management strategies and the ability to supervise support staff.  Therapeutic Crisis Intervention for Schools (TCIS) training is preferred.  The individual must have or be eligible for appropriate certification upon hire. Regular attendance and dependability are required.  Other responsibilities may be assigned.  Assignment is subject to change.

Requirement: New York State certification as School Counselor or School Social Worker

Anticipated Salary: $54,000-$92,000 commensurate with experience.  Excellent benefits package.
