Description

Palmer Lake Elementary School is looking for a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) Paraprofessional beginning with the 2026-2027 school year. The MTSS Paraprofessional provides essential academic, social, and behavioral support through the direct delivery of guided interventions in literacy and mathematics. Central to this role is developing strong, positive relationships with students to be proactive in providing the support needed for successful self-regulation and overall classroom success. This position focuses on close collaboration with the instructional team to monitor student progress, share observational data, and adjust strategies based on individual student needs. The MTSS Paraprofessional ensures a focused, productive learning environment for all students. A minimum of 48 college level semester hours, an Associates Degree, or passing of the ACT Workkeys proficiency examn is required. A minimum of 9 clock hours of continuing education must be taken annually in the area of educational instructional services or other approved area. Universal Precautions training must be taken a minimum of every three years.  Current First Aid and/or CPR recommended.
