Position: K-6 School Counselor
Location: Celina City Schools
Start Date: August 2026

Position Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individual and group counseling focused on academic guidance, career planning, and social-emotional development.
Assist students in goal-setting and healthy choices.
Identify and support students facing personal, social, or academic challenges.
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success.
Facilitate programs on topics such as conflict resolution, mental health, substance abuse prevention, and career exploration.
Facilitate tasks that are state requirements
Maintain accurate records and comply with all state and federal regulations regarding student information.
Participate in school and district committees to promote a positive school climate and student well-being.
Qualifications:
Valid Ohio School Counselor License.
Strong understanding of adolescent development and evidence-based counseling practices.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
Experience with academic planning, career counseling, and social-emotional support preferred.
Compensation:
