Summer School 2026 - Teaching Assistants and Teacher Aides - ESY Program

Extended School Year:

• 1:1 aide positions
• Self-contained aide positions
• Teaching Assistants

Dates: July 9 through August 19, 2026 (Monday-Friday)

            Aides/TAs: 8:15 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. (Monday-Friday)

            Students: 8:30 am - 11:30 am (Monday - Friday)

Responsibilities:

• Oversee arrival and dismissal.
• Support students in classrooms during small groups intervention or 1:1 based on IEPs.
• Staff will report to the Summer School Principal.

Hourly rate: 

Teacher Aide - Minimum $16.00/hour 

Teaching Assistant - Minimum $17.00/hour       

Requirements:          
Fingerprinting through NYSED

Staff will report to the Summer School Principal and Special Education Coordinator and receive one performance evaluation.
