Description
Position Purpose:
To provide clerical, secretarial and administrative assistance to Technology Director and Assistant Technology Director while maintaining accurate departmental and district-wide technology inventory and supporting the broad array of services provided to the District by the Technology Department.
Essential Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Maintain inventory entering and exiting the Technology Department.
- Provide support to the Technology Director and Assistant Technology Director.
- Meeting incoming calls and guests.
- Purchase order and requisition management and organization.
- Ordering, shipping and receiving products.
- Follow proper safety guidelines when unpacking and moving equipment.
- Be meticulous in records keeping and documentation.
- Work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Practice and exhibit quality workmanship, excellent work ethic and pride-in-ownership in the execution of all operating and maintenance duties including the proper care of all district property.
- Create helpdesk tickets for those users unable to create their own due to technology issues.
- Assist other buildings and departments in purchasing technology equipment or projects
- Answer telephone calls and provide information and assistance to callers
- Serve as the liaison with outside organizations for the purpose of coordinating the scheduling of deliveries, activities, etc.
- Adhere to all District policies
- Perform other related tasks as assigned by the Technology Director, Assistant Director and other central office administrators as designated by the Superintendent

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of office management procedures
- Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form
- General knowledge of state financial software.
- General knowledge of technology.
- General knowledge of Google Workspace applications (Docs, Sheets, Drive, etc.)
- Ability to be personable no matter the situation.
- Ability to translate highly technical information to non-technical personnel.

- Ability to work in the structure of a team atmosphere.
- Ability to use computer network systems and software applications as needed.

Qualifications:
- Office experience preferred
- Successful completion of all background checks
