Description
This position is responsible for planning, instructing, and evaluating the on-street
phase of students in the Driver Education Program. Also included is informing the
Driver Education Classroom instructors if a student is having a problem in the car. The
on-street instructor is also responsible for preparing, submitting, and maintaining
student performance records. Another responsibility is assisting in the preparation of
all necessary forms, reports, and booklets for the Driver Education Program.
Education/Certification:
-Bachelor's degree required.
-Colorado teaching license required.
-Driver Education approval from the State Board of Education desirable but not
mandatory.
-Criminal background check required for hire.
Experience:
-Teaching experience in the two phases of the Driver Education program, desirable but not mandatory.
Salary:
$30.23 per hour
