Description
Lewis-Palmer School District 38 is looking to hire a full-time Groundskeeper. This position will assist the department supervisor with all aspects of grounds keeping. Candidates will possess a broad understanding of school grounds maintenance and demonstrate advanced expertise in one or more areas such as landscaping, field preparation, irrigation, snow removal, playground upkeep and repair, or painting fields and parking lots. Candidate will serve as a safety-focused role model while ensuring the proper care and maintenance of school grounds and outdoor spaces. This position will assist the Supervisor or designee in developing and implementing detailed daily, weekly, and annual schedules for grounds keeping tasks across all district properties, including school campuses, athletic fields, and general acreage. Candidates must have a valid commercial driver's license and must be able to maintain a driving record which is insurable by the District's auto insurance company. Prefer candidates willing and able to become Certified Playground Inspector, or obtain Backflow Certification.
The starting salary range for this position will be $20.67 - $22.31 per hour. This is a full time position with full benefits.
