Compensation Range $44,872-67,835 depending upon qualifications

Reports To: Middle School Principal

St. Croix Preparatory Academy Middle School is seeking a dynamic and student-centered Middle School Physical Education & Health Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide engaging, standards-based instruction aligned to Minnesota Academic Standards in Physical Education and Health, while fostering lifelong wellness, teamwork, and healthy decision-making skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Education and Health.
• Active and current state of MN PE and Health teaching license.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Experience preferred with,
  • Teaching PE in a middle school setting.
  • College preparatory rigor in a middle school setting.
  • A classical model of education or a liberal arts college education.
  • Strong understanding of child development and effective teaching practices.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Passionate about working with middle schoolers and creating a positive learning environment
