JOB DESCRIPTION

Speedway Junior High School is seeking a passionate and student-centered Junior High Spanish Teacher that demonstrates strong classroom management skills, creates an engaging and structured learning environment, and builds positive and meaningful relationships with students, families, and colleagues. This teacher should be committed to helping students develop foundational Spanish language skills while fostering confidence, respect, and a positive classroom culture. Candidates should value collaboration, communicate effectively with staff and parents, and contribute positively to the overall school community and culture. 

JOB TYPE

• Full-Time Teaching Position

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Must hold a valid Indiana teaching license in Spanish
• Must complete an extended Indiana criminal history check

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Teaching experience preferred but not required
• Strong Proficiency in Spoken and Written Spanish
• Strong classroom management and student behavior support skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to assess student progress and use data to guide instruction
• Ability to develop and build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues
