QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Valid NJDOE Instructional Certification.
2. Demonstrated knowledge of subject specialty and effective teaching methods.
3. Ability to maintain a positive learning environment.
4. Effective problem-solving and communication skills.
5. Required criminal history check and proof of U.S. citizenship or resident alien status.
6. Must meet NJ Residency requirements as per the New Jersey First Act, N.J.S.A. 52:14-7 (L.2011, Chapter 70).

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Kenilworth Board of Education's substitute teaching long-term rates
and benefits:

Long-term sub less | $250 | The employee is not eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid sick and personal leave accruals (pursuant to the collective bargaining agreement), and enrollment in the New Jersey Teachers' Pension and Annuity Fund (TPAF) or the Public Employees' Retirement System.

• The position is not eligible for additional compensation in the form of stipends for
extracurricular activities, coaching, or tuition reimbursement based on district policy.
• In accordance with N.J.S.A. 18A:16-1:1, time accrued in a leave replacement position does not
count towards tenure.
