OPEN POSITIONS - SITE MANAGERS
As a staff member at the Neptune Aquatic Center, the Aquatic Site Manager is responsible for
providing students, patrons and swimmers with a safe, clean, enjoyable and educational setting
while responding to patrons needs as they relate to the use of the aquatic center. He or she will
also be responsible for monitoring activities in swimming areas to prevent accidents and provide
assistance to swimmers. The Aquatic Site Manager duties also include scheduling and working
with lifeguarding staff to create a positive work environment. The Site Manager will be
responsible for opening and closing the facility, monitoring chlorine levels and handling customer
service items.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum of 60 credits from an accredited college or university.
• Current certifications in CPR for the Professional Rescuer and an American Red Cross Lifeguarding Certificate.
• Current certification as an American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor is desirable.
• Ability to save lives and respond quickly and effectively to emergency situations in and around the pool.
• The physical, visual and auditory abilities to perform the essential functions of the job; that being to prevent accidents and provide assistance should an emergency situation arise.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to manage difficult or emotional situations by providing prompt and effective service when needed.
• Excellent organizational skills and leadership qualities.
• The ability to work with student lifeguards and develop schedules.
Rate subject to experience, certification and qualification will be $19.00-$23.50 per hour.
