Salary
- Compensation (based on 100% FTE): $85,000 - $100,000/year
- Number of Days per Year: 210

Position Qualifications
- Master's degree required
- Hold or be eligible to hold a Colorado K-12 Principal License
- Minimum of five years successful experience in teaching and/or school administration

Key Result Areas and Attendant Responsibilities
- Provides leadership in executing the educational direction of the school in alignment with District Mission, Vision and Core Beliefs
- Manages the day-to-day building operation
- Monitors the development and implementation of programs
- Develops and implements the budget for the building
- Selects, works with, encourages and evaluates personnel in accordance with District policy
- Monitors the quality and delivery of instruction
- Supports a positive climate for instruction
- Encourages a positive building climate
- Communicates school mission, District Purpose and Core Beliefs and academic goals to staff, students, parents and community
- Uses and promotes effective decision making and problem solving skills
- Affords appropriate opportunities for staff members, students and parents to advise principal on school policies and procedures
- Ensures staff awareness and acceptance of responsibility for District policy
- Accepts and fulfills assigned responsibilities and dutes in a prompt and efficient manner
- Functions as an integral and contributing member of the District's leadership team
- Participates in a continuing program of self improvement
- Ensures policy is followed in all student and personnel matters
