Principal Secretary - Office Clerk II - Johanna Perrin Middle School
Description
This position performs clerical and administrative services of complex and confidential nature for the Building Principal.
Under the direct supervision of the Building Principal, an employee in this position is responsible for communicating information to school district employees, students, parents and others as required, and to assist in ensuring compliance of department/program activities with legal, administrative and District policy requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Answer phones
- Organize and distribute mail
- Manage calendar for the Building Principal
- Maintain and submit weekly payroll and attendance
- Complete, process and maintain paperwork for work orders and purchase orders
- Prepare correspondence for Building Principal
- Maintain confidentiality of records and communications
- Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment for the building
- Perform related duties as required or assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of English composition, grammar and spelling
- Knowledge of Google Workspace and other software programs
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Someone who is highly organized and a team player
Qualifications:
Currently hold the Office Clerk II title OR be on the current Monroe County Civil Service Office Clerk II eligible list
Hours:
Monday - Friday
7.5 hours/day (unpaid lunch period additional)
12 Months
1860 hours/year

Minimum $20.27/hour
