Woodside Middle School is seeking a 7th Grade Math Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. This position offers the benefit of a 4-day student week, providing additional time for planning, collaboration, and work-life balance while working in a supportive middle school environment.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Provide engaging instruction aligned with Iowa Core Math Standards
- Develop lessons that promote inquiry, problem-solving, and critical thinking
- Establish a structured and supportive classroom environment
- Implement effective classroom and behavior management strategies rooted in restorative practices
- Collaborate with grade-level and content teams and participate in professional learning
- Use student data to inform instruction and support student growth
- Communicate effectively with students, families, and staff
Qualifications:
- Valid Iowa teaching license
- 5-8 Middle School Math or 5-12 Mathematics, 5-12 Basic Mathematics, 5-8 Middle School Mathematics or 5-8 Algebra for H.S. Credit
- Strong instructional and classroom management skills
- Commitment to relationship-building and restorative practices
- Ability to collaborate and contribute to a positive school culture
