County College and Career Academy (CCA) Coordinator
REPORTS TO: CTAE Director
JOB OBJECTIVES: (Purpose of the position):
To provide the best possible educational opportunities for students in the community served; develop positive school and community relations, including contacts with parents, community groups, other school officials, and the general public
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (Functions essential to attaining job objectives):
Strategic Goal Area I - Student Achievement
- Supervise work-based learning programs
- Assist in the preparation and administration of the system's annual local plan for Career, Technical, and Agriculture Education (CTAE)
- Coordinate student discipline
- Institute school site policies, methods and procedures
- Oversee the safety and security of all students participating in educational programs and all activities of CCA
- Assume responsibility for enforcing all county policies and rules
Strategic Goal Area II - Student/Stakeholder Engagement & Loyalty
- Manage all aspects of secondary personnel
- Oversee facility management
- Maintain current knowledge of all pertinent federal and state rules and regulations affecting CTAE
- Serve as a liaison between business & industry and CCA
- Manage the safety and security of the physical plant
Strategic Goal Area III - Efficient and Effective Organizational Processes
- Work with instructional staff to identify needed instructional materials and equipment, prepare a budget, and prepare purchase orders
- Develop a master schedule for the utilization of personnel, facilities, and resources
- Direct the keeping of all necessary records
- Develop, submit, and control school budget and funds
Strategic Goal Area IV - Continuous System and School Improvement
- Assess the needs of personnel and provide appropriate staff development
- Market CCA to the community
- Perform such other duties and tasks and assume such other responsibilities as may be assigned
JOB STANDARDS (Minimum qualifications needed to perform essential job functions):
- Master's Degree with certification in leadership
- Minimum of five years teaching experience at the secondary level; secondary administrative experience desirable
