Requirements / Qualifications

CLASS DEFINITION: Under general supervision records and maintains transcripts and other permanent records, does other clerical work as required.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: Experience: One-year clerical experience in public education. Education: Completion of 12th grade or equivalent. Knowledge of: Typing, modern office methods, filing systems, letter writing, good English usage, spelling, grammar, punctuation and record keeping. Ability to: Type accurately and post information on permanent record forms; work with detailed records; meet students and teachers tactfully and courteously; maintain effective cooperative learning working relationships with others.
