Supervisor of Instruction - World Language / ESL
 

Description:

• Evaluates and supports the quality of instruction delivered by teachers
• Communicates and supports the instructional focus of the district to the teachers and administrative staff
• Keeps abreast of best research-based instructional practices, and makes recommendations for inclusion in the district education program
• Uses multiple measures of data to analyze program effectiveness and makes recommendations for improvement
• Attends professional development and informational meetings at state, regional, and national levels as requested
• Assists in the planning, delivery, and evaluation of professional development
• Coordinates student screening, WIDA Access testing, and Seal of Biliteracy testing
• Liaison to the multilingual families
   

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years teaching experience - Required
• Master's Degree - Required
• NJDOE Teacher of World Language or ESL - Required
• Valid NJ DOE Certification: Supervisor - Required

Salary Range: $105,000 - $150,000 
Health Benefits, and other compensation provisions pursuant to the WTASC Collective Bargaining Agreement_2023-2028
