POSITION:            AM Custodian
LOCATION:           Woodbridge High School
START DATE:       TBD
REPORTS TO:       Chief Custodian
CLOSING DATE: TBD

Woodbridge School District is accepting applications for a Custodian (AM).  This is a 12-month position.

JOB SUMMARY:

Performs custodial duties as assigned by the chief custodian.  Develops and implements custodial services which will provide clean, comfortable, healthful, safe and attractive buildings.  Keeps the District's school buildings in such a state of operating excellence that they present no problems or interruptions to the educational program.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Attention to detail

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs general custodial responsibilities; i.e., scrub, wax, buff, dust, sweep or clean floors, walls, blinds, furniture, lavatories, locker rooms, lockers, shelves, offices, fixtures and glass surfaces, as required to preserve designated spaces.
  • Assists in maintaining seasonal grounds work (snow. lawn)
  • Restocks disposable items and provides head custodian with inventory usage and data.
  • Assists in the delivery of supplies and equipment.
  • Assists outside organizations using school facilities, as assigned.
  • Follows all District and building safety regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned.
