Middletown Township Public Schools is looking for qualified Health & Physical Education teachers for the following positions at the Elementary and High School Levels:
Health & Physical Education Teacher - Tenure Track; Position available: 8/27/2026 - 6/30/2027
Health & Physical Education Teacher - Replacement Position; Position available: 8/27/2026 - 6/30/2027
Qualifications:
- NJ Health & Physical Education certificate required
- Teacher of the Handicapped or Teacher of Students with Disabilities certificate preferred
- CPR and AED certificates or willingness to obtain
- Knowledge of the NJ Student Learning Standards for Comprehensive Health and Physical Education
- Knowledge of current best practices in Health and Physical Education
- Experience in differentiating instruction and utilizing inclusive teaching strategies
- Knowledge of Least Restrictive Environment regulations
- Excellent classroom management skills
- Knowledge of Google for Education
The Middletown Township School District offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
Terms of Employment:
- Tenure Track Position Salary Range: $60,673 - $126,533 (as per the negotiated contract and commensurate with experience), Click here for summary of salary and benefits
- Replacement Position Salary Range: $60,073 - $87,073 (as per the negotiated contract and commensurate with level of education), Click here for summary of salary and benefits
- Benefits: Full-time employees are eligible for medical, prescription and dental benefits on the first day of hire.
