Must hold a license issued by Utah State Office of Education.
The license must be in one of the following types: Secondary Education (6-12) (Level 1), Secondary Education (6-12) (Level 2), Secondary Education (6-12) (Level 3), Secondary Education (6-12) (ARL).
The license position area must be in one of the following areas: English, Reading/Language Arts.
The license must be in one of the following grades: 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th.
The license status must be active or about to graduate from a state-approved teacher preparation program.

Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate, student-centered Secondary English Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about literature, writing, communication, and critical thinking, while also creating a classroom environment where students feel supported, challenged, and inspired to grow.
This position includes teaching a variety of secondary English courses and collaborating with fellow faculty members to support student achievement and school culture. Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with state standards and school curriculum Teach literature, writing, grammar, vocabulary, speaking, and critical thinking skills Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners Foster a positive and respectful classroom culture focused on student growth Assess student learning through formative and summative assessments Provide timely feedback on assignments and student progress Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues Participate in department collaboration, professional development, and school activities Integrate technology and creative instructional strategies into daily instruction
