Description

Lewis-Palmer High School is looking for an Art Teacher beginning with the 2026-2027 school year Must have or be eligible to receive a Colorado Teaching license with an Art endorsement. Must be able to facilitate and inspire student learning and creativity; design and develop high quality art, and manage the day to day fun of art class; collaborate with students, colleagues, and school community; promote and model partnerships with families and responsibility to our Responsive Classroom culture. The start date for teachers new to the District is July 31, 2026.          

Exact placement on the pay schedule will be determined by the Director of Human Resources upon contracting.  As a guideline, we offer up to 18 years of previous contractual teaching experience for a placement of Step 19, per school board policy. This pay range is based on education and experience levels with a range of $44,550 - $75,279 annually.  The current teacher pay schedule can be found on our website.
