Special Education ASD-CI Teacher

Position:  Special Education ASD/CI Teacher  .5 FTE

Building:  Spring Lake High School
 

Start Date:  2026-27 School Year

Qualifications:  

• Certification with a Cognitive Impairment and/or Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Endorsement preferred
• Candidate must have experience utilizing positive support strategies and classroom management skills to effectively support students with social emotional learning and behavior needs
• Knowledge of and experience in working with teams to provide instruction using an alternate curriculum for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder
• Moderate to heavy lifting may be required

• Must have excellent communication skills and ability to establish relationships with parents, paraprofessionals and building team members
