Description
Lewis-Palmer High School is looking for an Athletic Trainer for the 2026-2027 school year. The Athletic Trainer is responsible for the health care of athletic related injuries and conditions sustained during sanctioned CHSAA athletic events and activities. Candidate will provide care of injuries to athletes at either or both high schools in accordance with the Medical Practice Act of the State of Colorado and the direction of licensed physicians. The Athletic Trainer is responsible for the prevention, clinical evaluation, diagnosis, immediate care, rehabilitation, and reconditioning of all athletic related injuries appropriate to their education. Candidates will render emergency care and make medical referrals and recommendations for further care when necessary while maintaining accurate records of injuries. Candidates will develop injury prevention programs. Bachelors Degree from Accredited Athletic Training Program or Entry Level Masters Degree in Athletic Training is preferred. Must have a National Athletic Trainers' Association Board of Certification (ATC credential). The Athletic Trainer teaches an introduction to athletic training course during fall semester and an advanced course during spring semester.
Exact placement on the pay schedule will be determined by the Director of Human Resources upon contracting. This pay range is based on education and experience levels with a range of $44,550 - $75,279.
