SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Teaches students academic, social, and motor skills following guidelines set by State of Illinois law and board policy. Create and deliver engaging, standards-aligned lessons that promote language acquisition and cultural understanding. Integrate cultural studies into the curriculum to promote understanding and appreciation of Spanish-speaking cultures. Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to meet the diverse learning needs of students. Create and contribute to a positive learning experience.
SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree; one to two years related experience and/or training preferred. Valid Illinois Professional Educators License, with Secondary Spanish endorsement is required. Must have ability to communicate successfully with parents, co-workers, and administration.
