Non-Instructional Student Aide

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work with administrators, teachers, students, and parents
• Aptitude for successful completion of tasks assigned
• Alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable

REPORTS TO:   Principal or designee

JOB GOAL:  To supervise students and assist with personal care needs. 

 PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work across all school environments to provide additional supervision of students.
• Assist with students' personal care needs, such as toileting/diapering and other hygiene needs, changing clothes, carrying and distributing materials, assisting with meals, monitoring and assisting with medical conditions, lifting and moving students, cleaning/wiping down areas to ensure sanitation standards as required for safe school environments, etc.
• Work cooperatively with all school personnel to enhance the school's overall quality.
• Informing the appropriate school staff  of all potential problems regarding student needs
• Maintain confidentiality.
• Engage in activities that promote professional growth.
• Required to have prompt, regular, in-person attendance and be available to work on-site, in-person during regular school hours
• Perform other duties as needed and assigned by the Principal or designee.
• Demonstrate prompt and in person attendance
