Part Time Elementary Instrumental Music Teacher - Band (Grades 4-6)

Qualifications:
Valid New Jersey Instructional Certificate; Teacher of Instrumental Music

Scope of Responsibility:
Assumes professional responsibility for providing learning experiences in elementary (grades 4-6) instrumental music, including beginning band instruction and preparation for concerts, individual and small group lessons, and supervision of students in a supportive and positive climate that develops in each student the skills, attitudes, and knowledge to meet and exceed the New Jersey Student Learning Standards, using approved curricula, materials, and directives of the school. Achieving academic excellence requires that the Instrumental Music Teacher work collaboratively with other members of the school staff and with parents.

Salary:
$47,850 - $52,200 annually
