In accordance with the provisions of Article XIV-B of the contract between the Flemington-Raritan Education Association and the Flemington-Raritan Board of Education, the following position is available:

Assistant Principal-12 Month

08/15/2026 - 06/30/2027
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Valid New Jersey Principal Certificate or Certificate of Eligibility.
- Demonstrated proven leadership in curriculum development and instructional strategies.
- Knowledge or experience supporting school operations, including scheduling, supervision, and day-to-day management of a school building.
- Experienced in mentoring teachers, building collaborative school cultures, and promoting inclusive learning environments.
- Knowledgeable in language arts and literacy practices to ensure student achievement.
- Skilled in data-driven decision making, fostering academic excellence, and supporting STEM initiatives.
- Knowledgeable in 5-6 mathematics and science instruction.
- Strong knowledge of the New Jersey Student Learning Standards.
- Knowledge of Multi-Lingual Learners
- Familiarity with the Charlotte Danielson Framework for Teaching preferred.
- Minimum of five years of teaching experience, preferably with Intermediate/Middle School students
- Proficiency with Google Workspace(google docs,sheets, slides etc) and Canva preferred.
Salary:
Salary range is based on experience and qualifications, with expected salary beginning between $95,000 to $105,000. Salary will be prorated for partial-year assignments.
Benefits:
Eligibility for benefits is based on length of service and full-time employment status. In accordance with the FRAA Collective Bargaining Agreement, full-time staff are eligible for medical, prescription, and dental coverage. Paid time off includes sick, personal, bereavement, and vacation days.
