The Role We are looking for a passionate, organized, and energetic 3rd Grade Teacher to join our elementary team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a classroom culture that is both academically rigorous and emotionally supportive. As a 3rd-grade educator, you play a pivotal role in helping students master fundamental skills as they transition into more independent learning and deeper conceptual understanding.
Key Responsibilities Curriculum & Instruction: Deliver engaging, standards-aligned lessons in Mathematics, Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies tailored to 3rd-grade core standards. Leadership Integration: Incorporate leadership principles into daily instruction, helping students develop personal responsibility and goal-setting skills. Data-Driven Growth: Use formal and informal assessments to track student progress and differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs and preparing students for their first year of standardized testing. Classroom Culture: Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive environment consistent with ALA’s "RISE UP" values. Collaboration: Work closely with the 3rd-grade team and instructional coaches to share best practices and ensure student success. Communication: Maintain regular, professional communication with parents regarding student achievement and behavior.
