Job Posting: Elementary THRIVE Teacher (Part-Time, Virtual) THRIVE Learning Collaborative School Year: 2026–2027
THRIVE Learning Collaborative, a program within Newcastle Public Schools, is seeking a certified, part-time elementary teacher to join our team for the 2026–2027 academic year. This educator will provide targeted instructional support for elementary students in a virtual environment, ensuring they remain engaged and successful in their academic journey.
Position Details:
Job Type: Part-Time, Virtual, synchronous teaching
Grade Levels: Elementary (Grades 1–5)
Start Date: Fall 2026
Location: Remote (within the state of OK as required by certification or applicable laws)
Salary: Commensurate with experience and district salary scale
Other Duties: Additional responsibilities as assigned
Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging virtual instruction through both synchronous and asynchronous methods aligned with our online curriculum.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive virtual learning environment.
Adapt instruction to meet individual student needs and learning styles.
Utilize technology effectively to support student learning and monitor progress.
Maintain regular communication with students, families, and the school team.
Complete administrative and instructional responsibilities in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
Valid Oklahoma teaching certificate in Elementary Education.
Demonstrated experience or strong interest in virtual teaching and digital tools.
Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
Commitment to ongoing professional growth and collaboration.
Ability to work independently and as part of a virtual team.
