Assistant Band Director - Middle School

Description:

The instrumental music teacher creates a positive learning environment to facilitate the personal, social, and intellectual development of students through a planned and organized instrumental music program. In order to respond to the individual needs and abilities of students, the teacher must work closely with other staff and the administration of U.S.D. 443.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university.
• Current Kansas Teaching Certificate or license on file in the Central Office; such certificate or license must have a music or instrumental music endorsement inclusive of 5-12 or K-12 levels.
• Kansas Certification of Health Certificate on file in the Central Office (after employment offer is made).
• Desire to continue career improvement.
