Career and Technical Education Coordinator

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Create, implement, and continuously monitor a diverse set of district-wide secondary CTE programs across man disparate disciplines. * Lead, support, coordinate, and deliver district-wide secondary CTE programs through planning and implementation processes. * Partnership Cultivation: Act as a liaison with local businesses, community organizations, and postsecondary institutions to create work-based learning opportunities (internships, apprenticeships). * Curriculum & Instruction: Work with educators to align curriculum with career pathways, industry standards, and academic requirements. * Budgeting& Reporting: Manage program budgets, secure grant funding and analyze student data (academic/technical measures) for performance reporting. * Student Support & Outreach: Promote CTE programs to students, parents, and the community to increase enrollment, and provide career guidance and employability skill training. * Professional Development: Provide staff training in career development, work-based learning, and technical curriculum management. * Report, monitor, research, and analyze program data to ensure program compliance. * Prepare and monitor CTE budgets. QUALIFICATIONS * 3+ years in CTE curriculum development, career counseling, or related industry experience. * Education - Bachelor's degree in Education, Career & Technical Education, or related field is typically required. * Skills - Strong communication, organizational, and data analysis skills are essential. * Knowledge - Deep understanding of CTE standards, local, state, and federal policies, as well as local economic opportunities.
