Description
PRIMARY FUNCTION: To support accurate, timely, and meaningful data collection, analysis, and reporting by maintaining student information systems, ensuring data quality, and providing technical assistance to schools and departments for informed decision-making and compliance with state and federal requirements.
PAY GRADE: Professional/Technical/Supervisory Non-Administrator Salary Schedule - Grade NG - Salary Range: $56,775.00 to $78,822.00. Salary placement will be based on Douglas County Board of Education approved salary schedules and years of verified relevant experience.
FLSA STATUS: Exempt
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 231 Days (12 Months)
REPORTS TO: Assistant Superintendent of Strategic Data & Research
EDUCATION LEVEL: Bachelor's degree or higher with at least four years of work experience.
EXPERIENCE: District Office experience with Student Information and FTE Tracker required. Experience working with GADOE Portal required. Minimum of two years of experience working with student information systems.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Routine physical activities that are required to fulfill job responsibilities. Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body; sedentary work involves sitting most of the time; jobs are sedentary if working and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
1. Demonstrate regular attendance and is punctual.
2. Provides data analyses and reporting, collects and/or assembles data, identifies and applies appropriate statistical analyses, produces graphical, tabular, and narrative summaries of data and statistical analyses, writes reports and executive summaries.
3. Conducts statistical analyses of academic initiatives with focus on improving student achievement, analyzes student data, and supports district leaders and principals on the use of data and programs to make informed decisions.
4. Ability to communicate data trends to a wide variety of audiences with varying knowledge of the subject.
5. Ensures system data is accurately reported and troubleshoots inconsistencies.
6. Prepares data presentations.
7. Prepares quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends in system, school, and student data.
8. Maintain up to date knowledge on Infinite Campus, FTE, Student Record, Student Class, ETCH, ABC Tracker, CRDC, etc.
9. Query data to address specific informational requests at the direction of the Strategic Data and Research Team.
10. Maintain up to date knowledge of federal, state, and local reporting requirements.
11. Maintain update to date knowledge on behavior and attendance reports.
12. Assist with updating and posting school profiles.
13. Ensure that all tasks are completed accurately within mutually agreed timelines.
14. Contribute to the overall leadership and stewardship of the district by participating in meetings at the district, local, and state levels.
15. Performs other duties as assigned by the appropriate administrator.
