Description
Supervisor of Instruction, Data & Assessment
(PK-3 and Early Childhood Literature Expertise)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Instructional Leadership & Curriculum Development
- Facilitate curriculum development, evaluate new materials and methods, and support strong execution of programs in the classroom
- Collaborate with building administrators on instructional priorities
- Assessment & Data Oversight
- Coordinate, review, and evaluate school assessment programs
- Professional Development
- Support staff growth through scheduled professional development days and develop the district PDP
- Manage the New Educator Academy and mentoring program
- Special Programs
- Support ESL program and testing
- Support Literacy Intervention program
- Manage NJTSS
- Staff Supervision & Evaluation
- Conduct classroom observations and formally evaluate teachers
- Provide school administrative coverage as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
- Track record of improving student outcomes in the classroom/school
- Experience in curriculum development
- Supervisor/Principal Certification
- Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status
- Current residency in New Jersey, approved residency waiver or candidate agrees to obtain residency within one year of employment
OTHER:
- The district offers a salary commensurate with experience (salary range for 1.0 FTE: $88,000 to $118,000). Sick, personal, and vacation leave in accordance with NJ regulations.
