Supervisor of Instruction, Data & Assessment
(PK-3 and Early Childhood Literature Expertise)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Instructional Leadership & Curriculum Development
  • Facilitate curriculum development, evaluate new materials and methods, and support strong execution of programs in the classroom
  • Collaborate with building administrators on instructional priorities
• Assessment & Data Oversight
  • Coordinate, review, and evaluate school assessment programs
• Professional Development
  • Support staff growth through scheduled professional development days and develop the district PDP
  • Manage the New Educator Academy and mentoring program
• Special Programs
  • Support ESL program and testing
  • Support Literacy Intervention program
  • Manage NJTSS
• Staff Supervision & Evaluation
  • Conduct classroom observations and formally evaluate teachers
  • Provide school administrative coverage as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
• Track record of improving student outcomes in the classroom/school
• Experience in curriculum development
• Supervisor/Principal Certification
• Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status
• Current residency in New Jersey, approved residency waiver or candidate agrees to obtain residency within one year of employment

OTHER: 

• The district offers a salary commensurate with experience (salary range for 1.0 FTE: $88,000 to $118,000). Sick, personal, and vacation leave in accordance with NJ regulations.
