PARK COUNTY RE2 SCHOOL DISTRICT IS CURRENTLY ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR A MIDDLE SCHOOL/HIGH SCHOOL INSTRUCTIONAL COACH

JOB PURPOSE The Instructional Coach, having both content and instructional expertise, will work as a colleague with classroom teachers to support student learning and teacher practice. The building principal will direct the Instructional Coach, who will focus on individual and group professional learning to expand and refine teachers' understanding of research-based effective instruction. To meet this purpose, the Instructional Coach will provide personalized 1:1 support based on individual teachers' goals, identified needs, and the principal's guidance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Provide coaching and professional support to teachers to enhance instructional practices and student outcomes. • Facilitate Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) and collaborative meetings focused on data-driven instruction. • Support curriculum alignment and differentiated instruction strategies. • Design and implement well-organized individual and group learning opportunities for teachers and school leaders. • Model effective and differentiated instruction for teachers. • Create and deliver ongoing professional development for teachers and school leaders. • Assist teachers in aligning their instruction with strong teaching methods, standards, and student data. • Observe teachers and provide meaningful feedback and coaching. • Increase teacher effectiveness by improving the quality of teaching and learning through ongoing support teachers. • Equip staff with resources and skills needed to implement effective instructional practices. • Assist teachers and school leaders with implementing instructional decisions based on student data. • Provide support to teachers and administrators in analyzing student data. • Support the development of high-quality professional learning opportunities.

We are the home of the Miners (for the elementary school) and the Burros (for middle and high schools)! Students attend our schools from the surrounding towns of Alma, Jefferson, Como, Hartsel, Guffey, Lake George, and of course, Fairplay. COMPENSATION Salary commensurate with education and experience and includes individual medical, dental, life insurance, and retirement benefits through PERA. Work Year: 153 days for teaching staff.
