Pay: 20 per hour

Position Summary:
The Operations Assistant supports the Facilities Director in overseeing the daily non-instructional functions that keep our schools running smoothly. This role ensures that campus operations, facilities, safety systems, and logistical processes are executed with precision, care, and a commitment to holistic well-being.
The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and deeply collaborative—someone who understands that strong operations create the foundation for strong learning.
Key Responsibilities:
Campus Operations & Daily Management
- Oversee day-to-day non-instructional operations, ensuring smooth campus flow and a calm, supportive learning environment.
- Maintain organized systems for scheduling, documentation, inventory, and compliance.
- Prepare agendas collaboratively for team meetings and support follow-through on action items.
Facilities, Custodial Oversight & Safety
- Supervise custodial staff and ensure high standards of cleanliness, safety, and environmental wellness.
- Integrate and support the school's Facilities software program, coordinating maintenance, repairs, preventative care, and vendor services.
- Maintain inventory and equipment records
- Conduct regular campus walkthroughs to ensure classrooms and common areas reflect a healthy, holistic learning environment.
- Help refine and implement systems that improve efficiency, transparency, and communication.
- Assist with managing event timelines, materials, and communication to ensure smooth execution.
- Support implementation of new processes that enhance safety, efficiency, and the overall learning environment.
Qualifications:
Required
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and a collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset.
Preferred
- Familiarity with school compliance, safety protocols, or facilities management.
- Bilingual skills (Spanish/English).
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365.
- Familiarity with school compliance, safety regulations, or vendor management a plus
- Comfortable working across multiple school sites and teams
