Shakopee Public Schools is searching for a Long-term Substitute (LTS, 1.0 FTE) to teach Kindergarten at Red Oak Elementary starting August 24, 2026 through approximately December 22, 2026.
Job Summary:
Provides instruction in content area in accordance with each student's ability, creates a classroom environment that fosters student learning and personal growth. Establishes effective working relationships with students and parents, works collaboratively with other staff members.
Qualifications:
- MN teaching license in Elementary Education (grades K-6).
- Experience with multiple instructional designs and differentiated instruction.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to build successful relationships with students, parents and staff.

Daily rate ranges from $277.17 to $387.23 depending upon education level.
