Hardware Security Assoc.
JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for cameras, card access, 2-way radios, alarms, and public address (PA) systems in all PTS facilities. Provide a clean, comfortable and safe environment for all district sites, associated buildings and adjacent grounds while promoting the mission of Perry Township Schools.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Responsible for maintenance and installation of camera and GPS equipment and assists school personnel with camera setup and management
- Programs and manages security FOBs
- Advises Director of Facilities on security concerns
- Responsible for maintenance and programming of 2-way radios
- Supports the District security video system(s)
- Supports the District photo ID system
- Supports the District security card access system(s)
- Supports the District weapons detection systems
- Supports Public Address systems in multiple venues (stadiums, gyms, etc)
- Supports the District fire systems and manages/monitors the district alarm system and integration
- Supports Police Department needs including all software as directed
- Maintains forms, order processes, inventory records and other documents
- Utilizes vendor systems, including work orders, per their instructions
- Creates training documents and provides remote or in person training as needed
- Run weekly and monthly reports per established plan or new as requested
- Establish and maintain backups of all systems
- Provides periodic updates on all equipment needs and determines replacement and/or repair needs
- Preventative maintenance on equipment (cleaning and battery replacements)
- Works with vendors to get replacement parts and/or new equipment
- Communicates with Technology Department before, during and after installation of any network attached equipment
- Assist with other duties as assigned

$24.15 per hour

260 days per year

EDUCATION:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associates Degree preferred)
EXPERIENCE:
- Experience with security video and computer troubleshooting preferred
