Health Room Paraprofessional - 0.5 FTE - Badger Elementary School

The Appleton Area School District has a position available for a 0.5 FTE Health Room Paraprofessional at Badger Elementary School beginning on 08/24/2026.

Salary: Starting at $16.50 
Schedule: 17.5 hours/week (M-F 12:00 pm - 3:30 pm) 
Qualifications: High School Diploma and 48 college credits.

What you'll do 
The Health Room Paraprofessional supports students and staff by assisting with daily health care needs and ensuring a safe school environment. Working closely with the school nurse, this role includes administering medication, documenting health office visits, and supervising students in the health room. Responsibilities also involve maintaining health records, ordering and organizing supplies, and assisting with vision and dental screenings in partnership with community organizations. Training in medication administration and nonviolent crisis intervention is required or must be obtained through the district. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be able to maintain confidentiality, and work effectively as part of a team.
