Daytime Security Guard

Applications are being accepted for the position of Full-Time Daytime Security Guard for our 1601 W. Main Street, Mesa AZ 85201 campus location. The typical hours would be 10:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Position Summary: Under general supervision the Security Officer shall work with Supervisor and other staff to provide safety of staff, students, visitors and all District property. Maintains vigilance and assists in campus crime prevention.
Job Type: Full Time, 12 Month Calendar
Salary: $20.42 - $25.39/ hour. Placement in the range will be based on a combination of education, industry related experience, teaching experience, and certification.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduation from high school or equivalent
- At least 2 years of progressively responsible experience in security, law enforcement, or military police OR completion of a security training program equivalent to work experience OR a combination of both.
LICENSING /CERTIFICATION AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Level 1 IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Possession of a current and valid Arizona drivers license
- Proof of immunization against or immunity to measles and rubella if born after January 1, 1957.
