Position: Mi Casa Summer Camp Counselor
Dates: July 6th - August 6th
Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 1:30 PM - 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: $11.41 - $16.00 per hour
Job Summary:
As a support staff member in the Mi Casa summer program, you will work directly with students, providing assistance and guidance during their activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist students with activities and projects during the program.
- Provide academic and emotional support to students as needed.
- Ensure a safe and positive environment for all participants.
- Help supervise and manage small groups of students.
- Assist in setting up and cleaning up after program activities.
- Communicate effectively with students, staff, and families as necessary.
- Support the implementation of lesson plans and activities under the direction of program leaders.
Qualifications:
- Must attend mandatory staff training: Tuesday, June 30th, 10am - 2pm
- Must be available for all camp dates.
- Previous experience working with students is preferred.
- Spanish language skills are a plus.
Working Conditions:
Classroom, office, lifting, pushing, pulling, standing, sitting, keyboarding, etc.
Ability to safely lift 50 pounds.
