The license position area must be in one of the following areas: Agriculture, CTE (General), Family & Consumer Sciences (Home Econ), Health Occupations, Technology Education (Industrial Arts).
The license must be in one of the following grades: 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th.
The license status must be active or about to graduate from a state-approved teacher preparation program.

The Role

American Leadership Academy is seeking a motivated and student-focused College and Career Awareness (CCA) and Career & Technical Education (CTE) Teacher to support junior high and high school students in exploring career pathways, developing workforce skills, and preparing for post-secondary success. This position emphasizes real-world application, career exploration, and skill certification aligned with Utah state standards.

Key Responsibilities

Teach College and Career Awareness and/or CTE courses aligned with Utah standards Guide students in career exploration, goal setting, and academic planning Integrate industry-relevant skills, technology, and hands-on learning experiences Prepare students for industry certifications and workforce readiness Use data (including state assessments) to monitor student progress and inform instruction Collaborate with faculty, counselors, and CTE coordinators to support student pathways Support and/or advise student leadership organizations (e.g., SkillsUSA, FCCLA, FFA) Maintain a positive, professional classroom environment focused on student growth
