Job Title: NHS Head Girls Golf Coach Job Description: NHS Head Girls Golf Coach – Newcastle Public Schools
Position Overview: Newcastle Public Schools is seeking a high-energy, qualified professional to lead the Girls Golf program at Newcastle High School. The Head Coach will be responsible for developing a competitive program, fostering a positive environment for student-athletes, and promoting school spirit.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage all aspects of the NHS Girls Golf program, including practice sessions, tournament scheduling, and team travel. Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all student-athletes. Promote teamwork, athletic excellence, and high standards of sportsmanship. Maintain professional conduct in accordance with district policies and represent Newcastle Public Schools positively.
Qualifications: Relevant experience in golf coaching or playing at a competitive level. Coaching certification as required by the State of Oklahoma and the Newcastle Board of Education. Ability to also work as a classroom teacher is strongly preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with students, parents, and staff. Ability to pass all required background checks and drug screenings.
