Through the CCIU Special Education Certification Pathways, we are making it possible for qualified candidates to work as Special Education teachers while earning a PDE PK-12 Special Education Certification. This is the perfect opportunity for adult members of the community to gain the knowledge and experience needed to be outstanding educators while earning an income.

Not only will cohort participants be employed as full-time teachers, but tuition costs will be completely funded by the CCIU tuition reimbursement benefit!

Location:
Cohort participants can be placed at several of our schools within Chester County.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors level degree required.
  • Experience working with children and adolescents with severe and complex behavior challenges in school, community, or residential setting preferred.
  • Current police, child abuse & FBI fingerprint clearances required.

Salaries starting at $59,796 for the 2026-27 school year
