POSITION:  Curriculum Specialist - Math        

STARTING DATE:  August 2026 

SALARY:  Based on education and experience

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:  Curriculum specialists provide a variety of services to partnering school districts, including coaching and professional development.  In addition, the department collaborates to support curriculum development for a variety of special projects, including social and emotional learning, teacher induction, and career education.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master's Degree from an accredited educational institution in the curriculum or a related area.
• Valid Ohio Teaching License
• Successful experience as a staff developer, instructional coach or mentor.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with a variety of teachers, administrators, and other stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Understanding of effective teaching and learning principles for meeting the diverse learning needs of students.
• Evidence of and a commitment to professional growth.
• Must pass criminal background checks and be free from communicable diseases.
