Position Title: Elementary Teacher –
Location: Butler Elementary School
Work Year: 2026–2027 School Year
Start Date: August 5, 2026
Reports To: Building Principal
SUMMARY:
The Elementary Teacher provides developmentally appropriate instruction to support early learners in building foundational skills in literacy, math, and social-emotional development. The teacher creates a positive classroom environment and uses data-driven instruction aligned with Colorado Academic Standards to ensure student success.
SALARY RANGE:
$47,750 – $103,021
- Full credit given for years of experience and education
- May qualify for up to five additional steps based on experience and education
- Tuition reimbursement opportunities available

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education required
- Valid Colorado Teaching License in Elementary Education or the ability to obtain
- Demonstrated knowledge of Colorado standards, assessments, and data-driven instruction
- Proven ability to support student academic success in a primary-grade classroom
- Strong background in teaching reading, writing, and math problem-solving
- Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team
- Experience working with diverse student populations
- Technology proficiency preferred
- Coaching opportunities may be available

- Create a structured, engaging, and supportive classroom environment
- Use assessment data to inform instruction and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with grade-level teams and support staff
- Communicate effectively with families and staff
- Participate in professional development and team meetings
