POSITION TITLE: Preschool Itinerant Teacher; Little Middies Preschool

JOB DETAILS: 

• 178 Day Limited Teaching Contract
• Salary and benefits according to placement on the Midview Education Association teacher salary schedule and dependent on skills and experience
• Posting date: April 15, 2026
• Vacancy is open for the 2026-2027 school year

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ohio Teaching License with proper certification at the Preschool Elementary Level including Preschool Intervention Specialist or the ability to obtain one prior 08/01/26
• A Reading Endorsement is highly preferred but not mandatory for the position
• Prior work records must demonstrate good working habits, excellent attendance record and evaluations. 
• Ability to provide a clear BCI/FBI background check free of convictions

JOB OVERVIEW: 
 

• The Midview Local Schools is seeking an enthusiastic, energetic, and innovative Elementary School teacher to fill a vacancy at the Little Middie Preschool. An Elementary teacher is responsible for delivering highly effective, differentiated instruction to a group of students with diverse needs. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning and instruction of all subject areas. The successful candidate should demonstrate a knowledge and ability to work with a diverse culture while implementing effective classroom management strategies to create a structured learning environment. The ability to communicate effectively and frequently with parents utilizing multiple mediums is a must. Collaborating with coworkers and administration on a regular and collegial basis is an expectation of this position and the applicant should demonstrate a successful history of doing or possessing the ability to do so. The successful candidate should have an above proficient level knowledge of technology and integrating technology within the classroom in innovation instructional ways.
• Travel will be involved, and mileage reimbursement as per the negotiated agreement.
